Happy Hour
I was coming back from the high school football game tonight and it dawned on me that summer was almost over and I hadn't been to the local Dairy Queen once. Needless to say I had to stop.
No D.Q.'s? How can this be! Seriously, fall in PA should really impress you. You'd be hard pressed to match the scenic beauty of riding up the Delaware along River Road when the foliage is turning. The stretch between Washington Crossing and New Hope was rated by a writer for Conde Nast a couple of years ago as being one of the top ten scenic drives in the world. That's the world, not just the U.S.
Wow! That is really impressive and Washington Crossing is only about 10 minutes up the road. I'll do that for sure. I'm also planing to drive to Jim Thorpe and or Stroudsburg. I can't wait to take pictures.
Sounds good to me, but I haven't seen any on this side of the county. :-) However I am looking forward to seeing my first Pennsylvania fall season.
